๐ค Graham Bousfield
Founder, The Resilient Hearts Society
Some people find their purpose early. Graham Bousfield found his through a lifetime of living โ and then, in the quiet and demanding work of caring for his wife Peggy, understood it completely.
Graham’s life has moved through many chapters. Post-war beginnings. A career that took him across industries and continents. Public success and private reinvention. Leadership, failure, rebuilding, and the long, unglamorous work of becoming someone wiser than you were before.
Each chapter offered its lessons. Not always gently.
But it was the years spent walking alongside Peggy โ through illness, through loss of the life they had built together, and finally through her passing โ that brought everything into clarity.
He had carried much. He had learned much. And he understood, from the inside, what it means to navigate loss without a roadmap, without a community that truly sees you, and without a space that honours the full weight of what you’re carrying.
The Resilient Hearts Society was his answer to that absence.
From our pain, we find our purpose. From our purpose, we find our people.
Graham brings to Resilient Hearts not a theory of resilience, but a life shaped by it. His work as a mentor to entrepreneurs and business professionals, and as a writer and advocate for authentic human expression, flows from the same source โ the belief that lived experience, honestly shared, is among the most valuable things one person can offer another.
He built The Resilient Hearts Society on that belief.
And on the conviction that no one should have to navigate loss alone.
The Society is Graham’s way of giving back โ and of honouring Peggy, whose quiet strength lives in every corner of Heart House.
